I recently replaced my clockspring following directions from someone with experience. Then I tried to calibrate the SAS with my OBD2 and it won't go through it seems. And then my ABS light randomly turned on after I accidentally did an ABS component test.

Note: found out why the abs light is on, turns out there's a components test that needs to be finished but when I try to finish it it doesn't finish.

We need to check the codes to see what's going out, this video can help. to me it sounds like the clock spring is defective or not installed correctly.

Also, did you clear the codes once the repair was done? Here is how to install the clock spring correctly. I see the steering angle sensor is integrated into the spiral wire as well which will light the ABS light. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

I will be able to add images when I'm off work, but I think I may have installed it wrong, if that's the case do I need to buy a new clockspring or can I take it apart and put it back in the right way? Also please let me know what you need pictures of.

You should be able to remove it and install it correctly. Is it an OEM part? You can upload images or videos of anything you have a question about.

Okay, when I start this task after you answer these questions, and I'm 99% sure it's OEM I'll double check when I pull it out. How do I put it back correctly and do I need to do something before I install it the right way?
