Start the car cold (in the morning) sounds fine all good. Once at operating temperature makes slight hissing noise weird clunk from plate on top of intake. Go drive around the block or even to the store and it sounds alright but come to a stop and it starts idling a little smoother but there’s a very intermittent hissing like air release noise almost a pulley maybe. Any insight would be great

Any advice is much appreciated!!
Thank you,

The most likely cause of this is a vacuum leak. Here is a guide that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

However the clunk noise sounds different so the best thing to do is try and get a recording of the noise so that we can try and get on the same page.

Please run through this guide and check for a vacuum leak and let us know what questions you have and what you find with this.

Thanks
