I have a 1990 Saab 9000CD. I have just recently switched my battery out, but there was a problem. I put the negative side on and as soon as I put the positive side on my alarm, which hasn't worked for as long as I have had it, started to go off. How do I turn it off?

Disconnect the battery, leave the cables off for a few minutes. then put the positve cable on first! I don't know if this will solve the alarm issue, but always disconect the Neg first, and install the neg last!
