1993 SAAB 900 Turbo ignition locked

I can't turn my ignition with my key... it is in park and locked.... my key was slightly bent, but opened the trunk door... I also turned my wheel, and worked ith my automatic shift nothing seemed to work... is it a cable, or could it be as simple as getting a new key?

This seems too simple to ask, but don't you have a second spare key to try? No there would not be a cable involved.

hi, having the same problem, no key bent though and tried other keys - gear lever wont budge, key wont budge, alarm works and doors open/lock though.
has anyone got any solutions ???
