The fuel gauge doesn't work. What needs to be changed or fixed or replaced. The last owner said he had the carburetor changed. (I still have the original.) Could this have anything to do with the gauge problem?

Check the fuse that powers the fuel gauge if okay -Check and test the fuel sending unit, its in the fuel tank
