1988 Saab 9000 Is my ECU fried?

I put my cables on backwards and took them off to put them on correctly. I did however see smoke coming from I believe could be my alternator cable. But what things can fry when this happens? Everything seems to be working except my radio. If everything seems to be working fine then what other wiring could I have damaged?

Inspect and test all the fusible links and miniature fuses.

Also check whether the atlernator is putting out
