1996 SAAB 900 Passing smog

I have a saab that has not passed smog. When I got the car it had been parked with a bad battery. The smog person told me that the computer had to clear checks and I had to drive the car for awhile. I have put 250 miles and it failed for the same reson DO I ned to drive in winter and sport for ot to pass pr how many miles?

This is the re learn for the Saab 900S auto i would get a scan done and check for any set fault codes, clear codes and do the re learn , re scan and if codes are re set post codes for further information.
