Distributor cap

We are replacing the distributor cap but are unsure of the order of the wires into the distributor cap. The cap is not labeled with which wire to begin with.

Answer: Once you install the cap, looking at it from the front of the car and down at it proceed as follows : the coil wire plugs in the middle of all the wires, number one is at the bottom closest to the engine, number two is at the bottom away from engine, number three is at the top closest to engine and number four is at top away from engine.
