1993 Saab 900 removing axle shafts

I am replacing the clutch and need to remove the axles. Do i remove the axles at the bearing flange, or do I seperate the CV joints?

Unbolt and seperate the ball joints and remove the d/s by popping it out of the trans, the p/s you will need to remove the drive belt,bottom alt mounting bolt to access the bolts for the axle shaft bearing mount so you can remove that axle
