2000 SAAB 9-5 Machine oil smell/fumes

2000 Saab 9-5 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 103K miles

When I drive long distance (about 1.4hrs) even with windows open, there is a faint machine oil like odor that sticks to clothing; enough to have to change after every trip! Any ideas?

Check your crankcase ventilation system, for cracked hoses & check valve, also u may need to check your a/c recirculation motor function, check if recirt door closes when u press button on control panel, this door keeps outside air from coming in & also makes your a/c cooling much better. Good luck.
