2006 Saab 9-3 repair Question driver side window

it's been a long time ,anyways u will need to take door panel off to check your window regulator assembly ,these car window regulator goes bad often ,so after taking door panel off ,remove insulation padding ,now u can see the regulator ,now remove window motor from assembly ,check glass movement up & down ,if ok ,u will need to check motor apply 12volts power & grounds to electrical section on motor ,should start to move ,if not then u have a bad motor ,if motor is good then u have a bad window switch ,sounds like alot of work but simple to do with right torx type screw driver ,good luck .
