2006 SAAB 9-3 repair Question driver side window

It's been a long time, anyways u will need to take door panel off to check your window regulator assembly, these car window regulator goes bad often, so after taking door panel off, remove insulation padding, now u can see the regulator, now remove window motor from assembly, check glass movement up & down, if ok, u will need to check motor apply 12volts power & grounds to electrical section on motor, should start to move, if not then u have a bad motor, if motor is good then u have a bad window switch, sounds like alot of work but simple to do with right torx type screw driver, good luck.
