2003 Saab 9-3 repair Question 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

How is the axle shaft removed from the intermediate shaft. 2003 SAAB 9-3 SE. The manual I have makes it sound as if it can be pulled or prided out.

U most first remove c-clip from support bearing in the middle section of the drive axle assembly, then u will need to pry out, that process is to remove complete assembly, if u just need to remove axle section first remove inner joint boot clamp, then just pull out, & that is after u removed the out joint from the hub, good luck.
