2003 Saab 9-3 repair Question Car shakes

My Saab convertible with 25,000 miles from 2003 shakes when I step on the acelerator between 40 and 60 miles per hour. It is worse when driving up a hill.I had the tires recently rebalanced. It didn't help. The tires are wearing uniformley.
Any idea what may be causing the problem?
