My transmission light came on and the car started running rough. I took it to a local foreign auto repair shop. They said it was the torque converter, sent it to a transmission shop who had it for over a month and kept saying they were waiting for parts. When it finally was repaired they said they had to rebuild the transmission and install gasket/seal assembly set, rebuilt torque convertor. Then they wanted to charge me 3,800 for the repairs.
Does this sound fair for a Saab?
