2001 SAAB 9-3 ANTENNA WILL NOT GO DOWN ALL THE WAY

What is the cost to have it looked at and then to maike it work/repair?
It sticks up about four inches

Did u try cleaning the antenna mast, turn radio on, now with antenna all the way up, simply use some clean solve & wipe mast off & check for damage to mast, after cleaning check if working ok now, if antenna still dont go all the way down u may need to replace just the mast [or the antenna rod] only. Good luck.
