2000 Saab 9-3 repair Question No Start No Spark

Car will not restart after driving, Checked and has no spark, will start after sitting for a couple of hours.

Possible that the crank sensor is failing thermally. Check the resistance of it when warm, it should be around 950 to 1250 ohms. Sometimes when hot the resistance rises out of limits, and it can even go open. It is a three wire sensor, I believe it is pins 1 and 3 that you check.
