I have a 1999 Saab 9-3. I bought a brand new battery, changed the starter and the alternator, both also new and not rebuilt Drove the car for a day, the next day i went to start it, the battery was competely dead. It will start with a jump, by not even turn the engine otherwise. There is also problems with the clutch, the car will go into gear, but just move a little when i let the clutch out, wont die with the clutch all the way out in gear and my foot off the gas. Pretty sure i just need a new clutch, but that shouldnt affect the battery, right?

Hi there , the clutch will not affect the battery, i would be getting a current draw test done to see if there is an open circuit that is draining the battery, start there.

I did a draw test. There is no current between the negative terminal and the negative wire. The battery is suppose to be vented and only one side is hooked up. It was only driven for maybe an hour, but would that make any difference?
