I had about 45psi compression in 3 of the cylinders and not much more in the other. I had it diagnosed by a mechanic who said that a blown head gasket was to blame. I changed the thermostat, the radiator, and the head gasket. I tried to start the car and it did not start. It will crank for days but will not fire up. Starter fluid does nothing, I installed new spark plugs and gaped them to specs, torqued the head bolts down to spec. I have no idea what to do now. Please help.

Low compression in all cylinders would tell you the rings and cylinders are worn and the engine needs to be overhauled.
