Runs with the can sensor plunged out

Hello I have seen other people with similar problems but I haven't seen a defenate solution for this one .The pt it was overheating and I changed the head gasket and cut the head . It drove for about 2 weeks then wouldn't start .I am not getting a injector pulse when the can sensor is plunged in . I changed the can several times and crank also checked it with a multimeter .The timing lines up perfectly or do u have a diagram for the correct timing as some people have it off a cupple degree .Other people are saying its the timing do u have a solution for me.

Have you had it checked for codes? Not just hard codes, soft codes also. Many shops will tell you "The Check Engine Light is off. There are no codes.|" They're lying. Hard codes set the CEL because they cause emissions-related problems. Soft codes cause driveability problems, but not emission problems and thus don't set the CEL.

By "can" I'm presuming you mean "cam" as in "camshaft sensor" ?

Yes Its cam . I'm not getting any soft codes also I have change both the cam and crank sensor and getting the same out come.

If the injectors aren't firing, they aren't getting the signal from the cam sensor. You've either got it hooked up wrong, installed wrong, or have a bad ground.
