Hello,

It sounds like an injector is stuck on could have shorted out etc. You should be able to remove all spark plugs and the cylinder with the wet/black plug will be the culprit. Here is a guide to help you test the injector once you have removed it:

Hi Ken, thanks for your reply. It has been diagnosed as cylinder 4 misfire. How is this repaired and is it expensive as I am on a pension?

The first thing we need to do is remove the spark plug and look at it then do a compression test. here are two guides to help us:
