After driving the car for about twenty or twenty five minutes the gauge is near close to the red. The AC does not work on this car. The heat appears to work but it is July and it is hot out side. Is this normal or is it going to overheat? Is it over heating? I do not hear a fan kick on. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Good evening.

I would start by having the system pressure tested for loss of coolant.

Could be the thermostat, cooling fan motor, clogged radiator or bad radiator cap.

You need to have this checked ASAP.
