i was running the air in my car with the engine off for like 15 minutes because i was just sitting in a parking lot waiting for someone. the next day my car
wont start and my mechanic said that running the air without the engine on
had drained the entire battery out and the entire electronics needed to be
reprogrammed. i have run the air like this a million times in my car and never
had that problem. seems like bs to me. can anyone confirm?

Hi,

I see no reason why anything needs to be reprogrammed. If that was the case, anytime a battery replacement was needed, it would need to be done. That isn't the case.

However, recalibration is required on a few different things. You can do them yourself at home without any tools.

Take a look at the pics below. I included the recalibration information and directions. This is something you can do yourself. The last thing I added was for a sunroof. You may not have one.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
