I have the car listed above Limited, 2.0L Turbo. I purchased the vehicle in June 2022 and the car ran great. When I bought it the check engine light was on for two codes, P2562 and P0237 related to the turbocharger boost control position sensor A circuit. Recently in the past couple of days the RPMs will rise pretty high, sometimes reaching 5,000 RPMs when trying to get out in heavy traffic. It acts like it doesn’t want to shift, when in manual mode it shifts a bit better but not much. This car was a one owner before me and was maintained very well as I’ve seen on the Carfax. If anyone has any suggestions before I throw a ton of money at it, I’d appreciate it a lot.

Hi,

When you pull out and the RPMs increase, does the vehicle accelerate or does it feel like the clutches may be slipping in the transmission?

Also, have you had the computer rescanned to see if there are new diagnostic trouble codes? Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition?

If you haven't checked the fluid level, I attached the directions below. It is somewhat difficult to perform at home because the engine needs to be at operating temperature and running. On the transmission oil pan, you will remove a fill port to determine if it is full.

Take a look through the directions and let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
