RPM staying low 2, 1/2

Engine light on and do not have power go up to 60 barley rpm stay at 2, 1/2?

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge you may need an adapter auto parts rent it. pump is a high failure rate with older cars. and you need to see what the code is making the check engine light come on. See link for fuel pressure.
