While the car is neutral the rpm rises to 3000 and never goes down. I turned off the car and turned it on, the rpm is 900, but when i accelerate to 4000 the rpm stops on 3000 again. what should i do?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a throttle actuator that has gone bad or a large vacuum leak. Here are a couple of guides to help you see what's going on.

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-idles-too-high

and you should scan for codes.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
