tachometer not working properly

Engine runs okay, but usually the tachometer would go to zero without any change in the engines run then tachometer would go back to normal.

Hello,

This can happen when the ignition system is back feeding in the tachometer system. I would start with a full tune up, plugs throttle bore service etc. Here is a guide to help us get started, use OEM parts.
