I have already replaced the valve cover gaskets, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, alternator, starter, and battery. My codes are popping up for knock sensor which I will replace tomorrow and o2 sensors. I was told that these will not cause my car to lose power. Please help and give me your opinion.

Hello, I am Danny.

Yes! That will absolutely cause your car to lose power. The 02 sensors and knock sensor feed information into the cars computer to determine how the car should run. Having those sensors being faulty will send false readings and the computer cannot fully have the car running at optimum performance until the problem (sensors) are fixed. I have attached a few links for you to look at. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
