I just had the EGR valve replaced this past Thursday at a shop I trust. I do not have a check engine light now which I did prior to getting the vacuum leak fixed . The vacuum leak turned out to be the EGR valve. Since I drove home on Thursday I have noticed the RPM fluctuations and the loss of power. I keep thinking it is going to stall when I come to a complete stop or go through a drive thru line. Please help

Hi,

The first thing I would suggest is to check for engine vacuum leaks. They could have bumped something or left something disconnected.

If you take a look through this link, it explains how to locate a leak. Start with this and let me know what you find.

Also, make sure the air intake tube between the air filter box and throttle body is secure and fully connected.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
