Engine Mechanical problem
1985 Other Rover Models V8 Automatic
we bort a new distirbutor cap & a new rotor, plugged our leads up with the ryt firing order & it cranks over but it cuts out, but while its cranking over it sounds like theres some gunk somewhere, then theres a strong smell of petrol, & it wont crank over after that, we have twin carbys, if you can shed some light on this for me, i would be very greatfull.
