1996 Rover Metro fireing order

Hi i would like to know in which order my sparkplug leads go from the distribiter to my spark plugs please.I have look t all over with out having to buy a manual but at no avale.With thanks

firing order is 1342 .. get number one piston to TDC .. this should have the rotor arm inside distributor pointing at number one plug lead ... next plug lead around distributor cap (in rotation) goes to number 3 plug ... next to #4 plug ... next to #2 plug hope this helps
