Electrical problem
1995 Rover Metro Manual 74000 miles

i bought a new battery,had the alternator checked,had leads looked at,but still when i put the lights on or anything electric i lose all power in the battery,and it wont star,do you have any idea what the problem is please please help.

Is the alternator giving a charge of 13.5 volts with engine running .. if not it needs replacing .. let me know
