2001 Rover 45 engine noises

2001 Rover 45 Two Wheel Drive Manual

my rover was sounding a little noisy so i gave it an oil change and then had the tappets reset. Now the engine is quiet when cold but after being ran for a while it starts to make a tappety noise. Any ideas would be great as dont want to damage the engine. thank you.

try using a higher grade oil (10/40) etc.
