1999 Rover 2 Series water coming from exhaust pipe

I havent been using the car, and after sitting unused for a while water comes from the exhaust pipe when the engine is revved. Is this a sign of a problem with the head gasket?

There could just be a build up of condensation in the exhaust. I would run the vehicle for a while before worrying. It will most probably clear up ! Or you could have a cylinder compression test carried out to ease your worries !
