1991 Rover 2 Series OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

Hi
My oil pressure switch was staying on, I changed it, it still stays on. Will changing the oil and filter help, if not, is the answer to change the oil pump, what should be the normal oil pressure reading for this model? please help.

your local autoparts store will be able to supply a repair manual for the exact pressure .. change filter and oil for a slightly higher grade (10w40 etc.)
