rough when it runs lacks power.

when starting the ride need to push the gas when it running it runs rough shakes all over then losses power when at a complete stop it would slowly take off. when shut off engine and restarting it has power for a few miles then losses power again

Sounds like you may have a few issues so you have to hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor to start it?

just a little press on the gas panels and later it would go on its own

So you for sure have a 2002 SL1?Because when you say you loose power and can barely take off and you cycle the key and power comes back for a while your describing going into reduced performance mode.Then cycling the key and temporary getting back out of reduce performance mode. The S model saturns dont have reduce performance mode because they dont have throttle by wire. Can you post a pic of the car?
