Hi,

What you are experiencing is odd. The codes you have are related to the throttle position sensor and HEGO which stands for heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor. I don't feel that would cause it unless it is dumping fuel or running extremely lean.

Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Here is a link that shows how to do that:

To be honest, I feel I would be focusing on the throttle position code. I have a feeling that is where the problem is coming from. If you look at pic 1, it explains the diagnostics for the TPS (code 63). Take a look through it and let me know if you are comfortable doing it. Also, when you reach the end, I need to know the results to direct you to the next tests.

Pic 2 shows the TPS location on the throttle body. Check to make sure it isn't damaged, loose, leaning, or anything is out of the ordinary.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Merry Christmas,
Joe
