Hey everyone, I have been working on this truck I got for a few weeks now. I am not sure if it is a vacuum leak or something else. It will start fine, it idles rough as heck, and will drive okay but there is no get up, and after running a while the rpm's drop, it starts shuttering and shaking and the check engine light comes on. I have done the following:

Full tune up
Air filter
Fuel filter
Crankshaft position sensor
Cleaned the MAF sensor well

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Good morning,

I would start with a compression test to be sure there is no internal engine damage.

Roy, I just wanted to let you know that I was told that the ignition coil had a dead spot. Replaced that and it runs way better. Still has no power but it's a 2003 with 259,000 miles I don't expect it to be a race car haha. Thank you for the advice!
