Rough idle and grinding

My car makes a grinding noise when driving straight that gets worse turning right. It also has rough idle. Here's where it gets complicated sometimes my car starts and it has none of these issues then other times it does.

as far as the noise, it sounds like the left front wheel bearing needs replaced. The idle is different. Has the check engine light come on? When was the last tune up?

If the wheel bearing needed to be replaced wouldn't it make the grinding noise all the time. Because sometimes can drive all day with no problem not even the grinding turning rihht occurs. then the next day i have the problem

Yes it should make the noise all the time if the bearing was bad, can you tell me the area the noise is coming from?
