Rough idle, loss of power and poor fuel mileage

So the car has been drinking petrol. we are currently getting 18 miles to £20 of petrol. car feels very jumpy all the time has no power at all and wont go up hills. The engine light was on but we replaced the coil pack and the light then went off. We also replaced the lambda sensor. None of this has helped as the car is still running the same way. We had the catalytic converter cleaned out as wel still no odds.

is the o2 sensor swinging properly if not replace it.

that's been replaced already. could the EGR valve be the issue?

no it's possible you have leaking fuel injectors.

the mechanic has checked fuel injectors he has said one of them needs replaced? Do you think this would be the issue? The car is running really bad, stuttering and vibrating and is really noisy.

If it is missing, I would start with a compression test to see if the motor is any good.

You cannot clean out a catalytic converter. If it is clogged it comes from solidifying of the inside and causes a restriction and the engine cannot breathe.

Yes to the EGR. If it is stuck open it will produce a massive vacuum leak and the engine will run poorly.
