just over the past two weeks I have notice the car was idling rough. It starts and runs great. there are no dashboard lights on. I brought it to mechanic they did a tune up (plugs and wires) no change. then they did fuel control tune up and still no change. they said the next step would be new injectors, but it is not guaranteed. is there anything else I can try before such a large investment?

Hello,

Yes I would stop and do a compression test before installing any more parts. Here is a guide to help you get the job done.

If you need a gauge you can rent one for free from an auto parts store.

Please run this test and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
