Car was running fine. Took it to get an oil change and provided my own oil and filter. The tech used their oil. They drained it and replaced it with mine. Since then I've noticed either rough idle or misfire usually first thing in the morning or after work. After about 10 minutes or so of driving it smooths out and runs like a champ. It's driving me crazy!

Took it to autozone and had a scan. There were no codes stored. No check engine light either. The misfire or rough idle is very noticeable at times but like I said after a few minutes of driving it smooths out and runs great.

Might be worth getting the coil voltages checked, many work shops have equipment to test and record KVa readings, you may have to leave it over night to replicate your problem.

I have a mechanic friend in New Mexico. I am headed that way in a few days. I'll have him take a look at it. Hopefully I wont have any problems on the 10 hour drive. I appreciate your help and prompt responses. Thank you!
