Hello,

A scan tool shows a code of p0353. A visual inspection found numerous vacuum leaks. So far have gone through and replaced on all six cylinders plugs, coil pack, upper and lower intake gaskets, EGR gasket, cleaned injectors and replaced o-rings. Also has popping sound. More frequent under load than idle.

Hello,

Does your vehicle have a coil pack or Coil On Plugs (COP)? In the diagrams down below I have included the first part of the diagnostic troubleshooting guide for DTC P0353 for your vehicle. Please get back to us with the answer and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Okay, in the diagrams down below I have in the Pinpoint Test JF, which is what the factory technicians would use to diagnose the problem at the dealership. You will need to use a digital multi-meter (DMM) and a test light to do these tests so here are a couple of links explaining how to use them, if needed:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter

I have also included guides for how to find a short to power, an open in a automotive electrical circuit, and how to measure voltage with a DMM. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
