Hi,
Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? Is the noise you hear loud enough to record and upload for me to hear?
If the check engine light is staying on, you should have the computer scanned to see what diagnostic trouble codes are stored. Actually, because the vehicle is newer, a scan of the can-bus would be a better idea.
CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Also, where do you feel the vibration at higher speeds? Is it in the seat/floor of the vehicle or the steering?
