Once the turbo kicks in it runs great other than it sounds like it is missing on all cylinders. I change the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and I changed the distributor.

Hi,

A misfire can be caused by several things. Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Has anyone changed the air intake tube?

Do me a favor. Let's start by checking for diagnostic trouble codes. This vehicle has an OBD1 system. You can retrieve codes without a scan tool. Take a look through this link and let me know if you find codes:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/ford-lincoln-mercury-obd1-1995-and-earlier-diagnostic-trouble-code-definition-and-retrieval

Also, let me know if the engine has 240,000 miles. If possible, record how it is running and upload it for me to hear.

I will wait for your reply.

Take care,

Joe

At the bottom of where you are typing, click on the "Add Image or Video."

Let me know if you find it.
