My roll over bar auto deployed when I went over some bumpy rail road tracks with a series of dips while driving with the vario top up/closed. The roll bar will not go back down and the top is in-op. I tried holding the button to raise the bar several times but did not work. Tried holding the roll bar button to lower bar several times and did not work either. Have not attempted battery disconnect yet. I would like to know how to disconnect the thing and lower it manually if it will not affect the vario top operation. Any ideas?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

I have attached the directions for this process in the attached pictures. The first picture indicates component locations. Picture two list the manual lowering and raising of the component. Picture 3 is lowering instructions only. I tried to enlarge them.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Thanks Joe. I will try to find the component. Guess I will just have to start stripping panels until I find it.
