Rod knock sensor replacement instructions needed

Hello, I got a code that my rod knock sensor is bad and needs replacement. I was hoping you could give me a diagram and instructions on how to fix the problem. I’m not to sure where the rod knock sensor is located.

Hi,

There are several different knock sensors on this engine. Do you have the specific code from when it was scanned? I don't want to tell you the wrong one and without the code, I don't know which is needed.

If you look at the attached pic, you'll see what I am referring to.

Yes, sorry. Codes are p0326 and p0172. Theses both came out when they scanned. Thank you.

Okay, that indicates cylinder 1 (p0326) I attached two pics below. The first is the description of the code identified by Mercedes as P032600. Pic 2 shows the sensor location.

The other code deals with the computer controlling the air fuel mixture. I suspect once the knock sensor is replaced, it should go away.

Let me know if it doesn't.
