I'm hearing a roaring noise in the rear of my vehicle when i get over 40 MPH. Just had all my wheels rotated and balanced and that didn't fix the noise.

This can be the rear bearing hub or the tires are scalped. I would inspect the tires and then run your hand over them to check the surface. If they seem okay raise the rear of the car up and spin each wheel to listen for the noise, also grasp the tire at the top and bottom and check for play, there should be none, this guide can help you:

Please upload videos in your response of the noise so I can hear it :)
