Roaring front could it be a bad hub?

I think it's a bad hub it, axles a loud roaring noise and vibrates and there's a little play from doing the side to side with the front tire.

Hi,

Often, a faulty hub bearing will make a roaring/humming which seems to change based on speed. Try this and let me know what you find. See if the sound changes when making turns. When you try this, take notice of the sound and which direction makes it louder or quieter.
