Right turn signal blinks once than goes off

Right turn signal blinks once than goes off unless I hold it up. Is this something simple that can be fixed easily?

If you have to hold the lever up to make it work, it sounds like the switch it bad and needs replaced. If you look at pics 1 and 2 below, they list the directions for replacement of the switch.
